Incineration seems another easy problem-solving solution, but the non-separated burning of plastic waste can be especially hazardous for both the human health and the environment due to highly toxic gases. Some types of plastics can be recycled in their material, which can be a suitable solution for PET, but it requires precise selection and cleaning. Energy and water consumption of material recycling technologies is also a possible difficulty and an important cost-increasing factor. Most of our garbage is non-reusable or repairable. The listed reasons state there is no existing solution to handle all types of our waste. Each material can be handled by one of our processes.
